Step 2

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to design, develop, and deploy robust data models and algorithms that address complex business challenges.
  • Preprocess and clean large, diverse datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity for analysis and model training.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and automated reports to monitor model performance and key business metrics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply new techniques where appropriate.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices in data science methodologies and deployment.
  • Assist in the documentation of data processes, models, and analytical tools for internal knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a data-centric role, preferably in data analysis or data science.
  • Proficiency in Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering), and model evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
