• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare to pediatric patients, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and developmental screenings.
• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses in children, applying evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with parents, guardians, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate families on preventive care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management, fostering a partnership in their child's health journey.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice and established protocols, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, documenting patient encounters, progress, and communications.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical skills and patient services.
• Act as a resource and mentor for new staff members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the clinic.

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), specializing in pediatrics.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on pediatric primary care from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.
• Demonstrated expertise in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and care plan development across a wide age range.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant clinical software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
