Step 2
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to Coastline Group's high standards of service.
- Train and mentor front-of-house staff, including waiters, hosts, and bartenders, on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as needed and optimizing stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Manage customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery and consistent quality across all dishes.
- Contribute to the implementation of new operational procedures and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and profitability.
Step 3
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry in Australia.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating a team in a fast-paced dining environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house management, inventory control, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Familiarity with Australian food safety regulations and workplace health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other restaurant management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by business needs.
- Located in Sydney, with the ability to commute to various Coastline Group restaurant locations as needed.
