Step 1
Overview
Lumen Labs builds a data-visualization platform trusted by product and growth teams at fast-growing SaaS companies. As a senior frontend engineer you will own significant slices of the product — from dashboard rendering to a component library used across the app.
The team is fully distributed, with engineers in more than a dozen countries. Work happens asynchronously in written documents, short recorded videos, and focused pair-programming sessions when needed. You will report to the Head of Engineering and partner closely with design and product.
This is a high-autonomy role. You should be comfortable scoping problems, proposing solutions, and shipping incrementally. The stack is TypeScript, React, and a Rust-powered analytics backend.
Step 2

- Design and ship user-facing features across the Lumen dashboard
- Own performance, accessibility, and cross-browser quality
- Lead the evolution of the internal component library
- Mentor mid-level engineers through code review and pairing
- Partner with design on prototypes and interaction details
- Contribute to hiring and technical planning
